Gum boots are must. Better to purchase them before the trip. Make sure your gum boots are flexible enough. Because most of them are not comfortable for riding bike . We had really bad experience with it. We were not able to apply rear brakes and switch gears with those boots at all. Excellent quality waterproof clothes, jackets, extra pair of socks, waterproof racksacks and waterproof bag covers are must. And dont rely on waterproof rack sacks completely.
