How to find a perfect hotel for yourself

    This is going to be my first blog. But from now on I will start blogging frequently. So what is going to be there in my blogs! I like to travel a lot. Roam around, see new places, taste different cuisines.
   This blog is about how to find a perfect hotel that suites your visit the best. I am going to point out certain things which you should keep in your mind while searching for any hotel only. First there are things about which you should be certain of before starting your hunt.

  • What kind of place/city your planning to visit.
  • What is the purpose of your visit.
    • Personal (Holidays, leisure and recreation, Visiting friends and relatives, Education and training, Health and medical care, Religion/pilgrimages, Shopping. Transit or Other).
    • Business and Professional 
  • What is your company, with whom your going on that trip.
  • Size of the group
  • Time span of your visit
  • Last and but not the least, budget of your trip
Now start searching for your hotels with any Online Travel booking Websites/App, One which you're comfortable with or any of these listed below (which I use frequently)- 
  • Preferred locations
  • Amenities
Dont select filters like Price range and other ratings. First select what you want. Because it will narrow your result list and you will hardly get your desired hotel.

Now dig into more details from the list about the hotel which looks decent to you. Make sure you read user reviews about that hotel. Don't opt hotel with less reviews/ratings. Then go to https://www.tripadvisor.in/ and search that hotel. Read public reviews. Concentrate on reviews with more details and do check photos posted by visitors. You will always see bad reviews about every hotel. Do read those reviews and see whether the things which the reviewer doesn't like matters to you or not. There are categories of reviews/ratings as well like ratings from Group Travelers, Couple Travelers and Family Travelers. Please concentrate on reviews according to your preference because it is not necessary that a hotel with high ratings by family travelers in suitable for Group Travelers or vice-versa.

Ladakh 2024: Roadblocks and Resilience - Episode 2

Embarking on a train journey to my hometown, I brought my bike along as luggage, arriving in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on March 22nd. The excitement built as I meticulously prepared my bike for the upcoming adventure, ensuring my riding gear and luggage were all intact for the challenging ride ahead.            To make your Ladakh trip memorable you have to start dreaming about it at least 3,4 months before the actual trip. I  started dreaming about it 3 years ago but could not execute the plan till now due to many hindrances,sometimes I didn't get the right company and other couples of reasons included money crunches and time shortage.
